Operations & Resource Co-ordinator wanted

£24 - 28k + benefits
Join Earnest

Earnest is a place for good people to create great work. It is a place where we come as we are, uniquely talented and united by our values. We are all Earnest.

We’re a busy, passionate B2B agency and we’re growing. But the beating heart of Earnest is our fabulous people, and the supportive, open, and encouraging culture that makes Earnest a special place to be; whether you’re working in the office or remotely.

It’s been so good so far. We’ve gathered a talented team, picked up a surprising number of awards and have been able to count the likes of Microsoft, Samsung, Vodafone, Instagram, Facebook and Centrica amongst our clients.

The same kind of different

We actively welcome applications from people not usually represented in our industry. We value talent (and being a decent human being). Large egos should not apply.

About The Role

This role is placed right in the thick of it, in the Operations team, and you’ll support us across an eclectic mix of areas, including Operations & IT, Resourcing, Facilities, & HR. The distribution of work across these areas will vary week to week which will give a uniquely holistic view of the agency and how it runs – with the opportunity to tailor the role to your strengths and interests in the future.

Resourcing – You’ll be supporting the Resource Manager in keeping the wheels turning on projects flowing through the agency across the delivery teams, and freelance partners.

Operations & IT – Assisting the Head of Operations with internal events and comms, you’ll also stay close to our IT department to ensure they can keep our tech healthy and everything running smoothly

Facilities – Our office is still our home, even if we aren’t all there all of the time – and it needs regular TLC – so you’ll be keeping an eye on things, making sure everything is working ok and helping to ensure all is as it should be for everyone when they go in.

HR – Our people are precious to us and we like to make sure everyone is doing ok. So, you’ll be assisting in the process of recruiting the right people and onboarding new arrivals, together with ongoing employee engagement, and also helping to manage and schedule Auntie, our wellbeing programme..

About You

Although support experience in a creative, advertising or design agency would be an advantage, any background in a busy environment where the days are varied and sometimes unpredictable, and the work involves a mix of skills, teams, and functions would help – good juggling skills if you will.

You’ll be confident, with a gung-ho spirit and can-do attitude, together with initiative, quick-thinking, and a warm, outgoing personality. You’ll be brilliant at forming relationships with anyone, and super-organised with your time – together with excellent attention to detail and a real enthusiasm for getting things done. Any interest in marketing and creative would be a bonus.

Most Earnies work remotely, with trips into the office as and when they feel like it or when it’s needed – everyone makes their own choices. This role would also be mostly working from home but we would want you to pop into the Central London offices occasionally so, being a commutable distance (or having local friends with sofas) would be helpful.

Digital Campaigns Manager (London / Remote) needed

Subject to experience + benefits
Join Earnest

Earnest started life in 2009 with a clear mission to chase the humdrum out of B2B marketing.

As an independent, creative agency, we go out of our way to do something special for our clients, making a real difference to their business and bottom line. This passion has translated into a whole host of awards – including The Drum B2B Marketing Agency of the Year.

It’s also helped us attract a fantastic group of clients that share our ambition never to settle for ordinary. We’re pleased to work with Vodafone, Samsung, BMI, Mastercard and SoftBank Robotics among others, through our offices in London and New York.

It’s been so good so far. We’ve gathered a talented team, picked up a surprising number of awards and have been able to count the likes of Microsoft, Samsung, Vodafone, Instagram, Facebook and Centrica amongst our clients.

The role

We’re looking for an experienced digital marketing manager to join our talented team.

You’ll have a passion for everything digital, a keen eye for detail and reporting, and an understanding for how business users behave online.

From Google Ads and Data Studio, PPC and SEO, to paid social platforms and CRM/MA platforms such as Hubspot and Pardot, you’ll have a solid understanding of all the major tools within the marketing tech landscape.

The same kind of different

We’re the same kind of different. Earnest is a place for good people to create great work. It is a place where we come as we are, uniquely talented and united by our values. We are all Earnest.

About you

B2B experience is preferable, and ideally you’ll have 2 years+ experience under your belt, whether agency or client-side.

We want someone who can ask all the right questions and get to the heart of the matter – carefully selecting the right channels to reach and engage audiences – and ensuring they deliver the goods commercially for both the agency and our clients.

Monitoring campaigns, reporting, and recommending changes and improvements on a daily basis is also key to ensuring we deliver the best we can for our clients.

Most of all, we want someone with a hands-on approach, and an athletic mind that can help Earnest continue to set the pace and wow our clients.

Senior B2B Content Writer & Strategist needed

£45k-55k
Join Earnest

We’re the same kind of different. We welcome you, whatever your appearance, mobility or gender; who you love, who you worship or where you’re from. We look for talent, enthusiasm and likability in our teammates. We look for that extra something that will add to the way we work together. That’s what helps us to be better people and a better agency.

To give a flavour of agency life, we’re currently a mix of working in the office and working remotely. We regularly go to the pub. Some of us go bouldering together. Some of us attend a book club. Some of us are obsessed with interiors, some of us are hardcore runners and lots of us can’t get enough of dogs. All of us enjoy a good bit of banter!

It’s been so good so far. We’ve gathered a talented team, picked up a surprising number of awards and have been able to count the likes of Microsoft, Samsung, Vodafone, Instagram, Facebook and Centrica amongst our clients.

What's it all about?

We’re looking for a solid B2B content writer with the brains for some exciting content strategy. Someone who wants to not only create great content but to also think about the motives behind it and the best approaches to make it truly shine and be shared. It’s an opportunity to create suites of content that gets you as excited about it as our clients and their customers.

This role is for someone who has the portfolio of B2B work with big brands, as well as the ability to demonstrate you know how to get the best out of awareness content, make paid social go further and can bring imaginative storytelling to new business pitches.

We’re really flexible when it comes to office-based or remote working (and not just since Covid) so it’s all up for discussion.

We’re not ones to beat about the bush either. The salary band for this role is £45k-55k.

What you'll be doing

  • Creating solid content plans for a variety of assets, from podcast scripts and how-to guides to landing pages and infographics
  • Writing impactful copy with a compelling tone of voice, and excellent spelling and grammar
  • Producing web copy with an eye on SEO without losing sight of keeping things sounding human
  • Editing and proofing copy with an eye for detail
  • Exploring sales enablement formats and the best ways to create a buzz amongst our client’s internal teams
  • Dissecting briefs, challenging them when appropriate and making sure you have everything you need to get started
  • Creating pitch decks for clients and new business, and presenting them with confidence, ease and a bit of flourish
  • Coming up with creative content formats and distribution channels that push the parameters of B2B content
  • Collaborating with the Strategy team on messaging, proposition and sales funnel activations
  • Collaborating with the Creative team on campaign creative routes and wrappers
  • Collaborating with the Client Services team to devise effective and efficient timelines and relationship-building strategies for clients

And to avoid any confusion, what you won’t be doing:

  • Writing advertisements
  • Creating billboard straplines
  • Coming up with Twitter hashtags

This is not a copywriter job.

About you

  • At least 8-10 years’ content marketing experience in-house or agency
  • A love for writing, a stickler for spelling and grammar, and a mass murderer when it comes to killing your babies to create the best client work
  • A strategic mindset with creative thinking when it comes to content formats , approaching the sales funnel and potential avenues for reaching the audience
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to stay calm, multitask and keep up in a very fast paced environment
  • A sense of humour and gung ho attitude
  • An enthusiasm for B2B, enjoying the challenge of taking a complex brief and turning it into something fun, innovative and unexpected
  • A knowledge of content marketing best practices and what is happening in the industry, with an understanding of the full ‘marketing mix’ – eg. digital, social, inbound, nurture principles
  • A willingness to collaborate and be inspired by others
  • Responsive to feedback and the confidence to stand by your ideas

And we’re keen to find a like-minded Senior Strategist to deliver great results for our ever-expanding client base.

We’re a multi-disciplined team, taking on a diversity of briefs across branding, proposition development, campaign and content planning to all things digital and experiential, always keen to bring that extra something to what we do.

It’s been so good so far. We’ve gathered a talented team, picked up a surprising number of awards and have been able to count the likes of Microsoft, Samsung, Vodafone, Instagram, Facebook and Centrica amongst our clients.

About you

If you’re looking to get your teeth into stimulating client briefs, keen to work with people who genuinely care (about each other, our clients and doing a great job), and have experience leading big, occasionally complex projects with senior stakeholders - we’d love to hear from you.

We're looking for someone who has...

B2B experience
B2B experience is a must – particularly in the technology and telecommunications sectors. Ideally, you’ll have 3-4 years+ experience under your belt in strategy roles, whether agency or client-side, with some great B2B case studies to share.

Leadership skills
You’ll be leading projects for a big, established account in the agency. Your time will mostly be focused on value proposition development and campaign / content planning - but you’ll also be required to input on resources and timelines for new projects, provide oversight of any freelancers, and display leadership in your strategy role that gives senior clients confidence in our process and outputs.

Curiosity
You’ll be as curious as we are about everything, with a good head for business and a great feel for what makes people tick. We want someone who can ask all the right questions and get to the heart of the matter – building clear and compelling propositions, turning the intangible into something altogether more meaningful.

Enthusiasm and drive
Most of all, we want someone with an athletic mind that can help Earnest continue to set the pace and wow our clients. We need someone who is happy to take briefs and run with them, able to create great strategy work that underpins the outputs of our creative team - and identify new potential opportunities on the way.

Lastly, ideally you’ll be well versed in planning digital-first campaigns, carefully selecting the right channels to reach and engage audiences – and ensuring they deliver the goods commercially for our clients. We have an in-house digital team who aid in this process, but demonstrable experience of digital campaign planning is desirable.

You’ll spend most of your time working on:

  • Insight gathering, working with our dedicated insight team Earnest IQ
  • Developing compelling value propositions, messaging and stories that position a client’s offering in distinctive and compelling ways
  • Formulating high-performing campaigns and go-to-market strategies
  • Working closely with our creative and content teams to bring to life those strategies in great concepts and campaign assets
  • Measuring, optimising and reporting on campaign effectiveness

We look for that extra something that will add to the way we work together. That’s what helps us to be better people and a better agency.

We have offices in London and New York. This role is based out of our London office but going forward we will be operating with flexible working arrangements – there will be times when you may need to be in the office, but we’re open to you working remotely as little or often as you would like to.

B2B Strategist (London) wanted

Salary is subject to experience + excellent benefits
Join Earnest

Earnest is an agency with a mission to chase out the humdrum in B2B marketing.

We combine insight and creativity to deliver great results for our ever-expanding client base, including the likes of Vodafone, Mastercard and Softbank Robotics.

We’re looking for a durable strategist to join our talented team

You’ll be as curious as we are about everything, with a good head for business and a great feel for what makes people tick.

B2B experience is a must – particular in the tech and telco space. Ideally, you’ll have 2 years+ experience under your belt, whether agency or client-side.

We want someone who can ask all the right questions and get to the heart of the matter – building clear and compelling propositions, turning the intangible into something altogether more meaningful.

You’ll be well versed in planning digital-first campaigns, carefully selecting the right channels to reach and engage audiences – and ensuring they deliver the goods commercially for our clients.

Most of all, we want someone with an athletic mind that can help Earnest continue to set the pace and wow it’s clients.

The same kind of different

We welcome you, whatever your appearance, mobility or gender; who you love, who you worship or where you’re from. We look for talent, enthusiasm and likability in our teammates. We look for that extra something that will add to the way we work together. That’s what helps us to be better people and a better agency.

What you’ll be up to:

  • Insight gathering – getting under the skin of the client, their market and customer needs via research, workshops and interviews
  • Developing compelling stories and messaging that position the client’s offerings in a clear and compelling way
  • Formulating high performance, integrated campaign plans – combining the right mix of inbound and outbound tactics, while thinking digital-first
  • Content marketing – from advising clients on the right strategy, building personas, establishing key themes and formats to distribution
  • Working closely with our creatives – delivering the laser sharp insights that will inspire their thinking
  • Measuring and reporting – with a clear view on what’s working and why, to demonstrate the value and optimise the performance of our campaigns
