What you'll be up to

  • Liaising with clients on a daily basis, developing strong, profitable relationships
  • Taking a client-centric and proactive approach to both nurture and grow accounts, while ensuring maximum profit for all projects
  • Leading the strategic direction for key clients, whilst also being able to deliver projects where required (we’re a small growing agency).
  • Helping to draft marketing proposals for campaigns, rebrands and digital projects
  • Understanding the full ‘marketing mix’ – from digital, social and inbound to media, PR and data – and employing your knowledge with confidence
  • Getting involved in new business, handling RFIs, liaising with procurement and running the end-to-end pitch process
  • Acting as a role model for more junior members of the team – helping develop their skills, experience and their careers

  • Being part of a growing team and ultimately helping shape and grow the client services team in our New York office

About you

  • At least 5+ years’ experience of managing multiple projects and people, from either a B2B, or integrated agency
  • A client-centric, consultative approach to nurturing and growing client accounts
  • Gravitas and the ability to own and run a meeting with senior clients or colleagues
  • An appreciation for great creative work as well as a passion for marketing
  • A willingness to work hard and go the extra mile

What’s it all about?

As an Account Manager, at any one time you’ll be expected to support the team in meeting (and exceeding) the expectations across our portfolio of clients. You’ll manage internal resources and budgets while ensuring that everything we produce is just right for the task at hand.

As a key point of contact, the Account Manager role is crucial to maintaining a flawless experience for our clients – something that’s absolutely fundamental to our success.


What you'll be up to

  • Writing contact reports, drafting timing plans, campaign reporting
  • Managing third party suppliers and partners
  • Aiding financial management of clients (estimating, quoting, invoicing)

  • Help draft marketing proposals for campaigns, rebrands, digital projects – and be confident in understanding the process
  • Understand the full ‘marketing mix’ – e.g. digital, social, content marketing – and also partner agency skills eg media planning, PR, data management, search and research

  • Simultaneously managing multiple projects

About you

  • Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience of managing client accounts within an agency
  • Administrative and project management excellence and the ability to multi-task
  • The ability to consult with clients and suppliers while assisting with enquiries in a professional, mature manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

At any one time you’ll be supporting the team in meeting (and exceeding), the expectations of at least one of our largest clients, as well as working on one or two smaller projects.

You’ll manage internal resources and budgets while ensuring our strategy – and the creative that comes out of it – are just right for the task at hand. As a key point of contact, the Client Manager role is crucial to maintaining great client relationships – something that’s absolutely fundamental to our success.

What you'll be doing

  • Confidence in helping more senior team members in delivering on strategic client briefs
  • Proactively thinking of ways to increase the scope of our work for existing clients (especially for our smaller clients)
  • Involvement in new business; researching, helping draft proposals and responses – as part of the pitch team
  • Being the best possible representative of Earnest, encouraging clients to do the most interesting and effective work they can

About you

  • At least 3–4 years’ experience at Client Manager/Senior Client Manager level, of managing multiple projects, from either a digital, B2B or integrated agency
